Chegam no escuro da noite
mais parecem vindos lá da Lua
cada um com o seu instrumento
dançando e limpando a rua.
Quem são eles? São os varredores de rua
varrem toda a cidade,
só não varrem a sua lua.
THE STREET SWEEPERS
They arrive in the dark of night
they seem to be coming from the moon
each with its instrument
they dancing and they cleaning the street.
Who are they? They are the street sweepers
they sweep the whole city,
just do not sweep your moon.
